A fourth wave of Indonesian evacuees from Egypt arrived at Pondok Gede Hajj dormitory in East Jakarta on Wednesday morning.

401 evacuees arrived at around 7 a.m having landed in Jakarta. They were evacuated from Egypt due to the ongoing political turmoil there.

“We have prepared rooms for around 500 people,” the dormitory's head, Idham Chalid, said as quoted by TribunNews.com.

Six refugees from the previous round of flights from Egypt were still staying at the dormitory. Four of them were waiting for their parents to pick them up and the two are were a couple. The wife was recovering at a nearby hospital for injuries sustained in the violence in Egypt. Her husband was staying at the dormitory while she recovered.

Idham said the dormitory had been doing a good job at accommodating the evacuees.
